Letting Go ECards

three knobs
when presented with this door with
three knobs i wondered how i might
determine which knob was the right
one only to find out that all of
them were right not because any of
them opened the door but because
the door was locked

bear your soul
my dear friend,
bear your soul
bleed the blood
root of your pain

you have nothing but to gain
a heart
that is whole...
buddha belly
for many years now
i have been pregnant
with these thoughts...
and now
it is time
to give birth

the crossing over
fear not
the
crossing
over
dug a hole
it was in this corner
where i sat quietly and wondered
why no one had noticed...
so i dug a hole to the other side of
my imagination and began to draw

jack in the pulpit
oh, jack in the pulpit
for i am the culprit
limited only by
the thoughts
in my head

..and suddenly, my lightbulb was brightly illuminated
and my possiblites were limitless
the letting go
one of
my hardest lessons
in life...
you've got to let go
to grow

...and like a kite
each one of my pains
gently left me...

marked escape
it was on that night
i drew my own escape
and ran off into the
darkness
with nothing but my
slippers on

..but
not without
first
leaving my mark
outside the lines
it is the painting
outside the lines
that makes
a true piece of art

may we not
cover up
our mistakes,
...but
embrace them

slippery slope
oh,
the slippery slope
of fear and hope

it
is only when
we let go,
that we will know

the abundance
of green
at our fingertips.
