it was in this corner
where i sat quietly and wondered
why no one had noticed...
so i dug a hole to the other side of
my imagination and began to draw
the path
the path is not
always clear

journey of mine,
i shall loosen my laces
and remove my boots

to protect me
from absolutely
nothing
scratch
the lens of life
inevitably gets
scratched
but with each
scratch
the picture of life becomes
inevitably clear

lens
is a life
not lived 		   
straight to purple
many paths
in life

some paths
stop
others...
lead straight
to purple
tragic not
tragic
is not what
it needs to be
old friend
i choose
happy
and free
until the end
and then begin again...
