castle flight
my castle has, over the years,
served me well.
but, now it is time
to step outside and feel the rain.

inhabited by hundreds
of almost extinct thoughts,
i take flight into the light
of a world that awaits me...

spare not a moment.
for a moment is all we have.

moment is all we have.

fear of chess
the arch was
built to
stabilize the
door which was
made to protect
the inside from
the outside for
fear that the
inside would want
to leave or the
outside would
want to come in

and play chess or
some trivial game
such as that.
fragile moment
it wasn't
until years
later when i
realized that
you must open
the door to let
the sun in

it was a
fragile
moment indeed

gently eiffel
inspire me.
wire me.
round and round.

my heavy metal has held me strong for
so long,
it is time
to come down.

to sharply spire
upwards again...

to feel the height of joy
not felt by so many.

but possible, indeed.

please...
bring me down, my friend.
so i can quickly come up.
again.

and gently...
eiffel.
illumination
it was not until i realized
the brightness of my own
illumination...
that i began to bloom

spanish love songs
when you finally
came around
i couldn't bring myself
to open the door
so i drew a guitar and a
picture of the sun and
began to write spanish
love songs...
the view
it does not matter
so much
which window out
which
we choose to hang our head

the view
will
be
different
but the
reality
the same.

vine of life
and so the vine of
life continues to wrap
its arms around me.

may it suffocate me
with joy.
wisp
behind these bars of my
own imagination
i see the light and
bright of the door to
the world of so many
others.

wisp me away through
the moss and dirt for
it is much easier
than turning the knob
myself.
