Seasons of the Heart

We all have dreams and we all suffer disappointment when our dreams do not come to fruition. We each work diligently and differently in order to accomplish our personal goals and ultimately find the joy that we seek. Sadly, we waste much time focusing on what we do not have and thus we prevent ourselves from reaching our goals.

Just as the earth has four seasons, you have seasons of your heart. In order to powerfully create, you must understand these seasons and use them in to culminate your desires into reality. Talk of your desires and explore each of them equally each day, allowing each day to be filled with the “budding” of thought and desire (Spring), the creations of your goals (Summer), the completion of the goals (Autumn) and dormancy, or rest (Winter). Do not rest until it is the winter of your day. During Spring, Summer and Fall of each day, keep busy. Your life will bring you a garden of celebration and you will then understand your heart.

It is important to understand these seasons. It begins each morning with an acknowledgment of what we wish to achieve. Begin with that day's events. What kind of day will it be? What do you wish to accomplish in that day only? Tell your heart what your goals are, and you will begun the budding of your accomplishments.

Next, do what must be done to accomplish your goal or goals. Do not allow yourself to be distracted. Focus your energy on the accomplishment of this task and watch it unfold as your focus stays true to your heart's desire.

Finally, rest. Allow yourself the luxury of celebration. It is imperative that you allow yourself time to rest. We live in a society where we feel the need to always be "doing" but forget the importance of "being." Allow yourself to BE, and you will then be prepared for the next day's adventure of creation.

Once you have mastered and understood the seasons of each day, create more long term goals. Work with the seasons of the heart. Allow thoughts and ideas to be planted deep at your core. Share them. Talk about them. Plan them. Then move on to the actions that are needed to implement them. Do not lose focus and stay assured that your goals will be met. Watch your heart bring you your joy and celebrate the harvesting of your dreams. And finally, rest. Allow no new thoughts to be planted until your body, mind and spirit have fully rested and celebrated your accomplishment.

Recognize your power. Acknowledge the truth of who you are. And allow your magnificent creations to flow from this moment forth, forevermore.

Work with your heart and watch all of your dreams materialize.

What would you like to experience differently in your life? Do you want to experience your body in greater health? Do you want a better relationship with your partner or children? Do you want more dynamic work? Look at your life in this moment and ask what you want to experience.

Next, list what choices you need to make to have that new experience. Maybe you need to change the foods you choose to eat. Maybe you need to talk to your partner about what you can change to have a better relationship. Maybe you need to look for new work.

Once you identify the action that will move you toward a new experience begin to make changes. You must make changes for thirty days, one day at a time to change the underlying pattern of how you have been loving yourself. Get going and count the days one at a time .
